Trio Novo

Trio Novo: Bob Tiefenwerth, piano, Paul Rieger, bass and Tim Taormino, drums 

Trio Novo was formed in the Spring of 2007 and played often in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area, including gigs at Baltimore's Center Stage and the Gallery G. In 2009 the Trio released "Tribute" a cd mostly featuring the songs of Antonio Carlos Jobim. Their second cd  (currently unreleased) tentatively titled, "Thimbleful of Soul" features a variety of classic jazz tunes such as Herbie Hancock's "Maiden Voyage". The Trio disbanded in 2015.
